One stating he has received communication concerning remitting funds to Manuel Díaz, which he will do, but he also thinks wise to increase escort by sending 4 of his men to accompany Díaz and the funds on return trip; second letter re his arrival from Loreto to the Cuesta de Armenta and reporting that he himself has little in the way of funds, and hopes to see Castro soon.
