Stating that Patricio Escobar, with an escort of 5 men, is on his way to join Castro, bearing supplies and funds. Espinosa also talks about the site of the colony, mentioning an area between St. Tomás and Rancho de la Grulla, where he has heard there is water, and some Indians who could perhaps in some way be incorporated to help the colony.
